My Background :
As with most people visiting this website , I have been interested in bikes since I was old enough to ride . I started off on roadbikes and raced for my local club during my secondary school years . When I moved to University my love of Mountain bikes started and I competed in a few cross country races but more than anything I just enjoyed learning how to upgrade and maintain my bikes .
After university I was lucky enough to get a job in a bike shop in london , part of the "Action Bikes" chain . For the next five years I worked for Action Bikes and was able to build on my knowledge of bikes and all aspects of maintainance .
Around 13 years ago I then left the bike industry for my current job but continued to repair and maintain friends and colleagues' bikes as a hobby . I also started of some custom builds , mainly due to lack of funds , but I also just enjoyed building up bikes for other people .
I have now come to a part in my life where my children are becoming more and more interested in Mountain bikes and I decided the time was right to start a new venture , hense " Wrights Bikes"
My aim is to build up a reputation based on the quality of my work , whether it be repairs , upgrades or custom builds , but also good old honest customer service .
